I always loved watching “Transformers”
as a kid (who am I kidding – I still do!)
Autobots vs Decepticons. Optimus Prime vs Megatron!
BTW, “Transformers 3″ the movie is already
out and is doing extremely well. 
Anyway…
A new plugin called “WP Transformer” is
becoming really popular, so I decided to
check it out and let you know about it.
WHAT THE PLUGIN DOES:
- It uploads an existing static HTML page and its
images and makes that a page of your blog.
- This is for those who aren’t particularly comfortable
with FTP software, creating directories on servers etc.
- The page will have the exact source code it
had when you uploaded it. It won’t have
“WordPress code.” So, it won’t be accepting any
“shortcodes” – but it will be loading faster
(static pages load faster than dynamic
php pages, all else being equal).
- This is a good idea if you want to have your
normal blog on a domain but you also want
to have a more “presentable” page somewhere
(like a salesletter or a squeeze page).
