Commission Blueprint Review

Commission Blueprint

Right off the bat, I can tell you this: If you use the Commission Blueprint the PROPER way you can make a lot of money. If you use this course the WRONG way you may lose your shirt…

This course is mainly about promoting Clickbank products via Google Adwords.

I won’t go over every little detail of what is covered, as that is mentioned on the salesletter. But I’ll tell you what jumped out at me. Including what I liked and what I didn’t like.

What I liked:

Great examples of landing pages. There are three PDFs that talk about building landing pages. Squeeze pages, presell pages and review pages. They are short and to the point. They are chock full of great information that WORKS. How do I know? Because I use many of these tactics on my own landing pages and the conversion is through the roof.

Some of the tactics are even mentioned in the videos.

They even give you the URLs of example websites as well as the HTML files so you can modify them and use them in your business. As far as landing pages for “Pay Per Sale” products go, the information is solid as rock.

Some people may find a few things mentioned in the reports a tad “aggressive” from a marketing standpoint. All I can say is that the top sites on Adwords right now use many of these tactics.

The learning format was easy. The videos: I admit that video production isn’t my strong point so I may be a little “impresssionable.” But personally, I liked how the videos where laid out a lot.

On the left of the screen there was the powerpoint presentation or the “walkthrough.” On the right, witin a smaller window, you could see Steven explain the whole process too.

The powerpoint presentations are also included in PDF format. And there’s a text file that goes with each video that includes the links to the resources mentioned in the video.

As far as the learning format goes, these guys have it down - no question about it.

The mindset they use is very good. At one point, Steven says some very encouraging and TRUE words: “Don’t be scared of the competition - there’s always room for another player.”

Good Mini Site tips: They tell you how to structure your minisite so your visitors feel more at ease- and so that Google doesn’t slap your campaign.

What I didn’t like:

The keyword research phase was too complicated. They use all these Ninja tools and tricks to come up with keywords. And those keywords aren’t even that great to begin with (keep reading to see why I say that).

Some of the videos were very “wordy.” I suppose those who are newer to affiliate marketing will appreciate the detail. But personally, I felt growing 10 white hairs with every passing second at times. To each his own I guess.

The Adwords campaign example they give was VERY unfortunate. It was about the acne market (which is fine). BUT, every time you:

- Include a very untargeted, general and high-volume keyword like “Acne” in [exact], “phrase” AND broad match

- You set up a daily budget of $500 right off the bat and you walk away

… you are not just asking for trouble - you are practically BEGGING for trouble.

Steven was very honest about the results and he showed the excel spreadsheet. Although the totals of costs and profits weren’t tallied, I did the math out of curiosity. Results:

sales = $328,75
costs = $935,14

Which means a net loss of over $600.

This CAN be a great way to find the “hidden nuggets” quickly - but I suspect this would leave a sour taste on most people’s mouths.

I suggest you set a lower daily budget initially. For some keyword tips (in the acne niche ironically enough!) you may want to read an older post of mine: How not to get owned on PPC - Part 1

Don’t get me wrong - it SHOWS that these people know PPC - but the specific example was, once again, VERY unfortunate.

This course is for you if:

- You use (or plan to use) paid advertising (mainly Google Adwords) as an affiliate

- You can “read between the lines” and know which methods to use and which to ignore

If you have any questions about the course, feel free to post below or email me.

If you get the course and you need some help, feel free to email me and I’ll try to give you a helping hand.

This goes, even if you have already purchased the Commission Blueprint. I’m here to help if I can.

Later,

George
